We're Here, We're Queer !!

假話說他一百次可能變成真理，禁忌習以為常的掛在咀邊可能變成尋常趣味， 難怪 Derek Jarman 勇於以 Queer 自詡，只有連當事人也能從不堪入耳的禁忌和辱罵中釋放過來， 我們才算是徹底解放，做個 Queer 但不 Fear 的自由人。

GayStation 的出現，企圖從已夠封閉的世界走到網路上的縱橫不羈， 開拓一處同聲同氣同床共枕的解放地。 那裡沒有 Fear，只有 Queer。

GayStation「大基構」是一間小成本、小規模，自資自搞自討樂趣的蚊型機構；我們不是典型 size queen，一味相信 size 就是美麗，size 就是 power， 當然 size matters，但別迷信 only size matters。

那麼「大基構」大在哪裡？ 大── 因為環繞著「基」這個奇情字眼的種種聲色異象，本就夠大夠壯麗， 大眾傳媒容不下的，就讓她肆意的在這個互聯大觀園傾瀉一地， 大方地，大無畏地。 大── 因我們矢志要走出「基」的傳統宿命， 當大世界已將我們 corner 到一個窒息的角落，我們更不應自限於一個狹小的地帶。

GayStation 著眼的不單是 Gay World，而是 Gay AND the World， 世界如何與我們同在，讓世界認識我們，讓我們更認識世界和自己，積極與世界 relate。

假如我們深信互聯網世界的出現不在統領和擴張，而在連結和解放， 該是時候為這個基世界推開一扇窗， 視窗遠眺是天外天， 那裡有道七色長虹， 虹端沒有盡處，只有另一道延伸到未來的虹光。

GayStation provides well-rounded information about gay community in the territory as well as Asian countries and the rest of the world. Its net radio service, with daily special programmes, have been enjoying rave reviews among the community and the media. The Chinese programmes are hosted by gay celebrities and spokespersons from various lesbian/ gay organizations. The livestreaming programmes cover all walks and aspects of gay lives, ranging from gay culture, counseling, forums, religion, sex, music, entertainment, politics to lifestyle.

Apart from the well-received net radio programmes, news and features on travel, gay events, leisure, entertainment, health & fitness and people are also among the interesting contents frequently updated by GayStation. Other interactive net features include our high traffic BBS, personals, chat rooms, polling, icq listings... are all available to our members.

GayStation was founded by Hong Kong's renowned local broadcaster, Mr. Brian Leung in early 2000.
